This Privacy Policy applies to the HerWay website, beta registration, and related services. HerWay is currently preparing its product for launch. If the app begins collecting additional information, we will update this policy before or when that collection begins.
Information we collect
Beta registration
- Your email address;
- Whether you are open to a short product-research conversation;
- Your consent to be contacted about access and research;
- Submission date and time;
- IP address, user-agent information, and an inferred country; and
- Campaign information such as UTM source, medium, campaign, and content when present in the link you used.
Analytics and technical information
The website uses Google Analytics to understand visits and interactions. The website may also receive standard technical information needed to operate, secure, and rate-limit forms. We do not intentionally request precise location through the beta form; the country shown in internal notifications is inferred from hosting or network headers.
How we use information
- To manage beta access and contact people who ask to hear from us;
- To understand user needs and improve HerWay;
- To measure campaign and website performance;
- To prevent spam, abuse, and unauthorized form submissions; and
- To comply with legal, security, and operational obligations.
How information is shared
We use service providers to operate the website and forms. Current providers include Resend for audience management and email delivery, our hosting provider for website infrastructure, and Google Analytics for website measurement. A beta registration may be sent to HerWay's internal contact address, talk@herway.app.
We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information when necessary to protect users, prevent abuse, comply with law, or respond to a valid legal request.
Contact preferences and consent
The beta form asks for consent before adding an email to our audience or contacting you about access and product research. You can withdraw that consent or ask us to remove your information by emailing talk@herway.app. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that we must retain for security or legal reasons.
Retention
We keep beta information only for as long as reasonably necessary for beta coordination, security, and legal obligations. We will establish and apply specific retention schedules as the company and product operations mature. When information is no longer needed, we will delete it or securely de-identify it, subject to legal or security exceptions.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information and services in use. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to withdraw consent. California residents may also have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including rights to know, delete, correct, opt out of sale or sharing where applicable, and receive equal treatment for exercising those rights.

Future app data
The planned HerWay app may process account details, partner pairing, commitments, completion records, and payment-related information. Any payment provider will process payment credentials under its own terms; HerWay will not intentionally store full card numbers. We will update this policy with the final app data flows, providers, retention periods, and controls before those features are enabled.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our services, providers, or legal obligations change. The date above shows when it was last updated.
