Refund & Cancellation Policy

Our policies on commitment-stake refunds, subscription cancellations, and billing support.

Refunds on Commitment Stakes

Commitment stakes and Stripe Connect charges in HerWay represent voluntary, co-signed accountability stakes. As such, these transactions are generally non-refundable once captured. However, refunds may be processed under the following verified conditions:

  • A verified technical glitch on our platform or Stripe Connect that resulted in duplicate or incorrect charges;
  • Unauthorized use of your payment instrument or verified account compromise;
  • Mutually co-signed dispute resolutions resolved before payouts are distributed to third-party endpoints.

Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the transaction date to support@herway.app. We will audit the co-signature ledger and transaction IDs. Approved refunds will be returned via Stripe Connect to the original payment instrument.

Cancellations

Either partner can choose to terminate their paired relationship or deactivate their account at any time:

  • Deactivation immediately cancels all pending rules and deletes active commitment contracts.
  • Pending rules that have not yet reached their deadline will be canceled, and no charges will be processed.

Disputes & Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback with your financial institution, Stripe's dispute protocols apply. Because every rule requires dual digital signatures and IP logs, HerWay presents co-signed ledgers to merchant banks to resolve chargeback disputes. Please contact our support team first to address any errors.
