"Who does more?" is hard to settle from memory, because the chores that take the most effort are not always the ones you notice. This calculator makes it concrete: assign each chore to you, your partner, or both, and it works out the weekly hours on each side — weighted by how long each task takes and how draining it is.

Adjust the frequency, time, and difficulty to match your home. The result shows the split, the biggest contributors on each side, and the one change that would move you closest to even. It runs in your browser and saves nothing.

How this tool works, and what happens to your answers.

Weekly effort for a chore is its time per go, multiplied by how often it happens, adjusted for a difficulty factor. A quick daily task can outweigh a long weekly one, and a draining chore counts for more than an easy one of the same length. You can change all three values.
